Dynasty of the Secret Bearers: The Covenant

Abstract:

The Covenant tells the epic story of one boy who dared to oppose evil and forge a holy nation, teaching humanity that true redemption lies in unwavering faith and righteous, benevolent actions aligned with God’s will.

Synopsis:

After it was nearly wiped out in the Great Flood, humanity has not learnt its lesson, and the world is rife with witchcraft, idolatry and immorality. In the year 1948 since the Creation of the World, Nimrod (the Rebel in the Holy Tongue), ruler of Ur (The City of Fire), and leader of the Torch Holders, learns from his sorcerers of a boy is soon to be born to the Dynasty of the Secret Bearers, destined to destroy his kingdom. Nimrod decrees that all pregnant women of the Shem Dynasty be brought to the palace, and their sons slaughtered at the altar.

Among the survivors is Amtalya, daughter of Karnevo and wife of Terach, the king’s Viceroy and Captain of the Guard. Upon discovering her pregnancy, she flees Ur and gives birth to her son in a cave in the Mesopotamian Mountains. Named Av-ram – (The Mighty Father) – Amtalya leaves her baby in the hidden valley, far from Nimrod’s reach, where he grows up in solitude and freedom.

After a divine revelation, Av-ram boldly proclaims the monotheistic faith and the sovereignty of the Eternal God to all mankind. Alone, he battles against the evil forces of Nimrod and Pharaoh of Egypt – the mightiest sorcerers of antiquity. His odyssey of self-discovery takes him from the fires of Ur to the deserts of Egypt, where he escapes drought and danger, continually calling upon the name of the Lord. He encounters angels, receives sacred teachings from his wise great-grandfathers Noah, Shem and Ever, marries Sarai – the love of his life – and journeys through the Fertile Crescent in search of a vocation, mission and divine truth. After overcoming countless ordeals, God makes a covenant with Abraham and promises him that his descendants will survive history and form a nation and a people where the just and pure of heart will reveal God’s truth and redeem the world.
